You don’t learn to speak
by staying silent.
Our teaching philosophy is simple: language develops through doing. Everything from instructor-led sessions to digital practice should help you understand, respond and connect.
Communication is a skill.
Practise it like one.
Watching videos and completing written tests can support learning. They cannot, on their own, demonstrate the ability to participate in real conversations.
PERSPECTIVE CHANGES EVERYTHING.“It’s not about memorising the right answer.
It’s about knowing what to say.”
Designed for the way people learn.
These are the foundations of the proposed Verbistry teaching model.
Oral-first learning
Most live time is spent listening, explaining, negotiating meaning, asking questions and responding — not passively consuming content.
Real interaction
Instructor-led small-group activities, paired tasks and one-to-one remediation are designed to create purposeful speaking time.
Blended support
Visual prompts, audio examples, concise reading and written exercises reinforce skills between live speaking sessions.
Meaningful feedback
A starting-point review, progress observations and instructor feedback help adapt activities to your needs.
Progress you can demonstrate.
Not just content you can click through.
Understand your starting point
We learn about your background, goals and communication challenges before recommending a path.
Practise with a purpose
Speak, listen, problem-solve and respond to realistic situations alongside a trainer or other learners.
Receive feedback. Try again.
Use practical feedback, targeted digital activities and repeated speaking opportunities to improve.
Demonstrate what you’ve learned
Complete the required activities and an instructor-reviewed performance task to earn a Verbistry training-completion certificate.
Built to get you talking.
Digital tools should support real learning, never replace the conversation. Here’s a small taste of how a task-based experience could feel.
What would you say next?
You're flying into an unfamiliar airfield. You've heard a controller's instruction, but one part isn't clear. Your goal is to keep the communication safe and accurate.
This sample demonstrates a learning interaction, not a formal assessment.
How should you handle an instruction you didn't fully understand?
Record your own spoken reply, then play it back. Your audio stays in this browser and is not uploaded.
Your next destination starts with a conversation.
